Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination

What Is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination is a treatment that relaxes the hairs so they can be manipulated into any desired position. The process is non invasive and painless.

Am I A Good Fit For Brow Lamination?

Those with thick or sparse brows can benefit from brow lamination. If your brows are coarse or unruly, lamination will help them stay in place and keep them uniformed.

A lamination on thin brows will allow the client to brush the hairs in different ways to cover up sparse areas.

Who Is Not A Good Candidate For Brow Lamination?

Contraindications for Brow Lamination include:

1. Psoriasis/Eczema/Alopecia

2. Recent Eye Surgery

3. Permanent makeup in the last 6 weeks

4. Sunburn/Very Sensitive Skin

5. On blood thinners

6. Pink Eye

7. Nursing

8. Using retinol, accutane, AHA, BHA

Is It Damaging To My Brow Hair?

There is no damage to the brow hair after lamination. High quality products are used to ensure optimal results. The last step of lamination includes laminating the hair with a gentle cream that naturally moisturizes the brows.

Can I Also Get Tinting At The Same Time?

Yes tinting can be done during the lamination if client desires a fuller, darker brow.

Is There Downtime After The Service Or Any Aftercare?

No there is no downtime and your brows will be ready to go after the appointment. There is aftercare to be followed which includes not getting the brows wet for 48 hours. Further instructions will be given to you along with an oil that is to be used on the brows daily.

How Long Does It Last?

Brow lamination can last 4-6 weeks if aftercare is followed properly. Getting the treatment every 2-3 months is recommended.
