Tooth Gems

Tooth gems with swarovski

How Are The Gems Applied?

High quality dentral grade products are used to bond the gem to the tooth. A UV Light is used for extra bonding. Clients are given UV protective googles.

How Long Does The Procedure Take?

The application procedure takes about 20 minutes.

Is It Safe?

Yes! The gems used are 100% swarovski, lead free, and non toxic. Gold charms range from 100% 18k to 24k.

How Long Do They Last?

Tooth gems can last up to 6 months-24 months, depending on the style. Swarovski tooth gems tend to adhere to the enamel of the glue better, as gold gems are heavier in weight. This amount is different for each client, as it depends on the enamel levels of the tooth along with after care of the gem.

Will The Gem Damage My Teeth?

The tooth gem will leave behind no markings on the tooth, even after having one on for years and years. Tooth Gems DO NOT Damage teeth. The removal process is similar to that of a braces bracket, as the gems are applied with dental bonding.

What If The Gem Falls Off & I Swallow It?

Gems have no sharp edges and aren't harmful to swallow. It will just come out the natural way.

Can I Still Get My Teeth Professionally Cleaned?

Yes. You can, and should still have your teeth cleaned by a dental professional. Tooth gems will not cause a problem for the hygienist cleaning your teeth. The area underneath the jewel is sealed like a filling and will not let in any bacteria. The hygienist can easily polish on top and around the jewel.

Does The Tooth Gem Obstruct Brushing?

No, the presence of the tooth gem will not make any difference regarding dental hygiene. However, it is recommended not to use an electric tooth brush for the first 24 hours after the jewel has been attached.

Can It Be Removed?

Our tooth jewelry is 100% reversible. The procedure is the same as attaching an orthodontic bracket (braces).  Therefore a dental professional must remove the tooth gem.  The tooth will be buffed and polished to remove any remaining bonding material.
