Numbing is used before and during procedure to make the process as painless as possible. Most clients fall asleep and don't feel any pain or discomfort.
Please Note: Avoid any caffeine and/or alcohol 48 hours before appointment. Also avoid booking an appointment during your menstrual cycle as it may increase discomfort.
1. Do not drink caffeine or alcohol 24 hours or more before your appointment.
2. Avoid any blood thinners such as iburpofen, Vitamin E, Aspirin, etc. If possible, avoid until brows are healed.
3. Do not wax, tint, or tan brow area 3 days before your appointment.
4. Any retinol creams must be stopped 30 days prior to your appointment as well as any facial injections or lasers.
5. Wash hair prior to appointment since hot showers are best to be avoided during the first few days of healing.
The scabbing phase can last up to 10 days but your brows will take at least 30 days to completely heal and for the pigment to resurface.
Aftercare is crucial to achieving the best results. Instructions will be given to you along with an aftercare package that includes everything you need.
Yes, powder brows are a two step process. The second appointment takes place 4-6 weeks after the first one. This is known as the "perfecting session." The main goal during the second session is to add more pigment to the areas needed and further perfect the shape.
An annual touch up is recommended after that but not needed/
Depending on skin type and lifestyle, Powder Brows usually last 1-3 years. Certain things such as anti aging creams, exfoliation, tanning, excessive sweating, and specific medical conditions can cause the brows to fade faster.
